Default Is there a way to add front legroom?

I'm finding that if I drive for more than an hour or so I get a bit cramped and my feet and knees get sore at this point. Mind you I'm only 19 so it's not arthritis, I'm just tall and need more legroom. Is there any way to mount the seat a couple inches further back or otherwise add legroom without making irreversible/major changes to the floorboards?

al_ngl- I'd take the drivers seat out (about 5 minute job) and see what can be done. I bet with a drill and a couple of bolts you could move it back a few inches. What have you got to lose- it's a 20 year old car you know. Might have to drill new holes in the seat track or clip off the mounting studs, but I wont tell anyone. Dave

It's pretty straight forward. The seat comes out w/ 4 nuts that secure the seat to the floor studs. The adjuster slide mounts to the seat bottom w/ an additional 4 bolts. W/ a little ingenuity it can be done. I basically did the same thing when I installed 240 seats into my 144. I used 1.25" flat iron stock and drilled it to fit the adjuster portion that mounts to floor. Then I welded the flat to the bottem of the driver's seat.
It's either that or a leg reduction.
