So, how the heck do you get that cover off the third brake light in the window of 240 sedan.
No screw to be seen...?
Thank You so much in advance!!

Its been awhile (our 240 has moved out of state with our daughter to college), but I think it just unsnaps straight away from the window. if you have a tan interior, its likely to be brittle and crumble upon attempting to remove.

ah, owners manual says...

High-mounted brake light
Remove the plastic housing by pulling it up and away from the light assemble. Depress the black catch tab to release the bulb holder 1. Swing the bulb holder out and replace the bulb 2

Bulbs Power Socket
High-mounted Brake light 20 W Ba9s

I'd seriously consider getting a compatible LED bulb from superbrightleds.com so you never have to replace it again

maybe the red one here,
BA9s LED Bulb - 9 LED Tower | BA9s and BA7s LED Bulbs | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs

or, after measuring to see if it will fit, this panel here, securing it to the reflector with a little Silicone adhesive or something
