Default Torque wrench recommendation for 240 work

I need to purchase a torque wrench so I can work on my 240. But I'd prefer to not search through the entire VADIS program looking for the min. and max. torques required. Does anyone know what torque wrench I need to cover the min/max torque ranges? And the drive size I should be purchasing would also be helpful (1/4", 3/4", etc.).

You'll want a 1/2" drive wrench that goes from 30-150ft#. Or a 50-250...
And a 3/8" drive wrench that covers from 5-75ft#

Fixed head on the 1/2" and flex head on the 3/8".
I have been using snapon for these and love them.

There is also a 3/8" drive that covers inch# which you'll need for some covers, etc..
I use craftsman for the inch# and it's alright.

Oh. If you need metric instead... Conversions are included with the wrenches or buy NM wrench.

Also, never max out or go passed the lowest settings as they will lose the calibration. So the range is important.

Edit:

I think my 1/2" actually starts from like 20 or 30 ft# and goes up from there.

I do quite a bit of wrenching on these cars and I have a 1/2 drive torque wrench I rarely use, primarily on head bolts. I have never seen 3/8 torque wrench, let alone a 1/4". The reason is that torquing is done rarely, normally just on bigger size bolts where it matters, mainly in engine building. I suggest you develop a good sense of feel for what's correct bolt tightening--some of it is experience but mostly it's common sense.

beginners tend to overtorque small fasteners and undertorque large ones.

Thanks for the replies.

And yes, I always seem to under-torque lug nuts. They feel as if they would strip if I did them up any tighter. But give it a couple of weeks and they'll be not loose, but only just tightened.
