Default TPS Question 94 940

I can not seem to find the answer to this question. When the throttle plate is closed should I have continuity between outside pin and center on the TPS? I am thinking it is a closed circuit during idle .. hence, there should be continuity ... is this correct??

Thank you for the file. I still am at a loss as I dont read wiring diagrams very well ... not well enough to have an answer to ... does the TPS have continuity at closed throttle. .. maybe someone is able to read it and help.

the idle switch on the TPS should be closed (continuity) at idle, and open as soon as you move the throttle off idle.

the full throttle switch (if your model is so equipped) closes when the throttle is nearly floored and tells the ECU to go full out.
