Transmission. Automatic AW70 and ZF

I've used this method with success. If you decide to drop the pan, don't try to remove the nut that attches the fill tube to the pan. Instead drop the pan with the tube still attached.

Default Do i use a gasket sealer?

I haven't been able to find any info about when installing the gasket do I use any sealer? Is the volvo 240 gasket different and doesn't need it? I did it for my 1993 Jeep Cherokee years ago using a transmission sealer on the gasket. any thoughts
