i just bought a 94 wagon with the manual trans. I was wondering if i should change the trans oil as it has 120k and if so, what kind of oil is recommend by volvo?

i just check the volvo site you recommend, but it said nothing about what type of fluid or how much to put in.

 

My Haynes manual says unless there is a problem the fluid should ever need to be changed. I don't know about that. I drained mine when I had to pull my trans. to change my clutch. Used Red Line MTL. FCPGroten sell it as a replacement for the Volvo Synthetic fluid which is horribly expensive.
