transmission codes '93 940??
Hi all,
We have a '93 940 wagon, and the automatic transmission is starting to behave less than optimally...
When the car has been cold (first run of the day) and more often now that it is getting colder, it will shift up from 1 to 2 fine, but then it will get stuck in 2nd for a while, it doesn't want to go into 3r for a while...sometimes letting off the gas just slightly will make it 'get settled in'. I put a bit of lube on the kick down cable (but not really a thorough job, didn't want to get involved in removal and all), which seemed to help a bit, but I 'd like to track down the problem and fix it good.
Searching around on here I read that the OBD on a 960 (95/96?) has a mode for checking codes related to the transmission...does that exist on the 940? I know that in the OBD port 2 is for ignition & port 6 for fuel- what are all of the other OBD ports for?
Thanks!
K
