now thinking of it, it could be the catalytic converter. i heard that from a friend of mine, so i will probably go under the body and feel around for loose ends....

Have you checked your universal joints on your driveshaft? Put car up on jackstands any play in the joint and it is bad. Any rust coming out between the universal joint and the cap and it is bad. If you are hearing it and it is the universal joint there will be play. Sometimes the car will vibrate like hell at 35mph, sometimes not.

my car doesnt vibrate at 35MPH, its a steady ride up to 180KM/H, maybe its the bushings of the transmission? and also maybe because i dont know when was the last time i changed the transmission fluid?

you can get price listings at ipd or some other places

I believe its your tranny mounts, if you havnt service your transmission. Have the fluids change and the valve body filter replace.

Usually the shifter moving means warped rear rotors/ Bad trans mount.

I hear the same thing on my automatic 95 940. When the car shifts from 1 to 2 i hear this horrible clanking sound. It doesn't make any more sounds after it hits second and it doesn't make any sounds after it's been on for a while. The clanking only happens when i first start it and take off. Is this a similar situation for me?
