Default Trying to find overdrive stud bolts

Hi, new to the forum and very new to Volvo mechanics. I'm working on a Laycock J type overdrive (out of an 86' 240 manual) and can't find an illustrated parts breakdown that lists the part number for 6 studs that connect the two O/D housings that sandwich aluminum spacer ring (sorry, don't know correct names). I believe two of the studs are 3" and the other 4 are 3 3/8 or 3 1/2" -- they are 5/16-24 threads. I broke one of the larger studs and would like to replace all six. Any help sourcing these is very much appreciated.

Andy

those OD units were common on british cars in the 60s/70s, you might try a supplier like Moss Motors that specializes in Limey Iron...

this is the volvo parts diagram for the J unit..

now, its quite likely these are all NLA, but ya never know. Being a british OD unit, it may well use Imperial threads.

wait, oh crap! muahahaha. MOSS FTW!

Thanks for reply and links. There are two sizes. 3” and 3 3/8” both are 5/16-24 threads. Easily enough made rather than search all over. I’ve wasted enough time looking. Thanks again.
