Trying to fix my horn...
Hi everybody,
My new (to me) '93 240 wagon doesn't have a working horn. It also has the horn integrated into the SRS bag...which makes me cautious in trouble shooting it...
As much as I can imagine the problem is somewhere in the switch...can I test this without messing with the SRS, or are they truly integrated to where if the horn switch fails you need to replace the whole airbag?
If it ends up being that way I might end up rigging my own switch (maybe with an old Volvo badge or something...could be a fun project...)
Tips anyone? Thanks,
Koos

Never mind- got it fixed
contacts (which are Behind the SRS) were sub par, so with a small amount of contact cleaner on a q-tip I reached in there and cleaned them all up with minimal dissasembly of the steering wheel.
And I put some orig. Volvo horns on there- much better than the aftermarket meep meeper...
another tick off the list!
