Hi all. I browse the England eBay some times, and I just found two 740 Volvo Limousine's for sale!

This is my first time even hearing about Volvo manufacturing limo's!

Does anyone here have a volvo limo? Was this 740 limo line a limited production? Only made for companies who requested them, or was there a legit production of these, and they are just hard to find?

This is making me want to start a jitney service in Bermuda w/ these right hand drives!

 

Yeah I have seen these these before. not sure the story behind them, but I think that the peoplewho owned the cars did that.

This company will take virtually any make/model of car and convert it into a limousine. They are used for civic duties by local government bodies; weddings; funerals and chauffeur driven private hire work.

In the UK these conversions have to be done by recognised vehicle builders to stop 'Joe Public' cutting and shutting a car and ending up with a dangerous vehicle on the roads.

 

I have seen about 4 740 Limo's here in Florida. There was a 960 Limo for sale not long ago down in Ft Meyers Florida. I have also seen some pictures of the S80 in a Limo.

 

Sorry... I meant to say that the ownershad it done at their own expense, and they didn't come from Volvo that way.
