A couple more random questions about my '85 245.

1. Where are the wiper relays? I have a replacement relay for my rear wiper, but I can't find the old one. The diagram in the Bentley makes it appear that both front and rear wiper relays are under the plastic piece that contains the fuses, but in this cold weather I'd rather know for sure than just start ripping things out.
2. How many bolts hold the front bumper brackets into the unit body? Is it just the two on the front of the bumper struts, or is there a third bolt that goes through from the top? I need to replace my tweaked left front strut so that my bumper will line up correctly.

So much for posting. I got the front bumper off only to find that while there's no damage beyond the bent bumper strut, the strut I purchased online isn't the correct strut. It appears to be from an older model 240. Luckily I found a new correct replacement on eBay. I'll be driving without a bumper for a few days, but once the new strut arrives it'll be a 10 minute job to put everything back together.

I also found the wiper relays, thanks to another post on here. Unfortunately the company that sent me the wrong bumper strut also sent the wrong relay. While it physically plugs in, the delay doesn't work properly. In fact the relay they sent (and claim on their website is a replacement for the relay I pulled) is identical to my front wiper relay.

I'm waiting to hear back from the vendor.
