It's giving me a big headache ! Replaced the overdrive relay, up-shift relay , checked the fuse ,etc , but the little arrow stays on all the time. It comes on as soon as I put the car in gear (manual tranny w/overdrive) and it stays on. Does anybody know what's going on and how I can get it fixed?

 

Go under car and for broken/loose wires.

 

hmmm. this may only work for my car and you may not want to try it on yours. Sometimes if I start my car and overdrive is on, I will press the engage button once, then again to disengage it. After that, I give the top of the dash a good whack. Then it goes out.

Can't hurt to try.
