Default Update on 740 GL Antifreeze Leak

Well am unsure of what went but whatever problem I was having blew out today. I was sitting in a parking lot and steam come out from everywhere under the hood. So, I poured what Antifreeze I had left into the tank and drove to work which was only a mile away and now it sits inside the shop waiting to be fixed. Didn't mess with it since I am going to have one of the techs at work fix it. When I believe something could end up being a major repair I let a professional deal with it. I am a small time handyman when it comes to fixing cars. I don't get into the technical stuff to much as I have learned sometimes cost me more money in the end.

Let us know what the tech finds, I am curious to know what was causing your problem.

Well I cant believe it, its not the headgasket. It was a heater control valves hose that was split and soaking the block and it was running around to the other side of the motor. So it ended up being a 80 dollar fix by the time I bought a heater control valve(the other one cracked when taking it off) hose, antifreeze and labor. Could have been alot worse.
