vacuum diagram for 1992 740 regina
Does anyone have indepth pictures of the vacuum lines for a 1992 b230 4 cyl? I have the hoses off of two ends on the idle air control, an opening on the air box, one from the intake manifold that might had gone to the idle air control it looks like, and two outlets on the massive accordian hose coming from the throttle body. I believe the outlet up front is a dummy line but the second one is an open port. Any pictures of the hoses assembled would be great for a 1992 740 regina.
Yea its not on this one that im lookin for and the pictures i pull up online show the hoses but not where the idle air control hose raps around in the back or where the hose from the intake manifold goes to.
its been a couple years since I've had a b230 throttle body off, but there was no real question about where the IAC hoses went, they can only reach the two places they attach, one before and one after the throttle. the only other 'large' fitting is the vacuum fitting for the brake booster.
This photo shows the 2 hose from on top of the intake manifold. The small hose without clamps on top runs from the intake to the nipple on the flame trap. The larger hose beneath it with the clamp does a loop and rims to the bottom of the IAC.
This photo shows where the massive accordion is attached to the throttle body..that little bright spot that's kinda down and to the right of the middle of the photo is the clamp for the hose that runs to the previously mentioned flame trap.
The other port on the air intake is plugged. In my 1989 bosch 740 this port is actually used for the IAC hose.
