Default Volvo 240 ABS

I have an 1992 Volvo 240 Station Wagon.
On uneven roads, the ABS light blinks, and braking feels different during that time. On smooth roads, everything is normal again.
Any idea what I could do to fix the problem?

Thanks,

I would check the relay connections and fuse connection on the positive terminal.

You could also check the wheel speed sensors on each front wheel hub for debris or damage. Try scraping off any obvious debris, the sensors might be sending wrong signals.
