Hi,

1990 240 DL sedan, 163K miles.

I also own a Passat and a few times each year, forum members will have a Passat Garage Day where they get together at someones house and work on their cars, assist others, etc. I've not seen something like that for Volvo 240 owners, but would like to find out if there might be any interest in such a thing in the Nashua - Manchester, NH area.

Work I am planning to do is install a new muffler from the cat back; the last one my son and I did (while a Volvo system) only last 4.3 years. Luckily it was under a lifetime warranty.

While I am at it, I need a new header pipe (some pitting taking place after 23 years 0 surprise, surprise), and while the cat (I believe) is ok, I might as well replace that also.

I'd be interested in having someone who works on their own 240 or similar cars helping out. I could fit a second car in my garage, and a third car could be worked on at the bottom of the driveway (given it sloops up).
