i am in the prosses of replacing my distributor but I've ran into a slight issue. i trusted the website i bought it from because it said it would fit my car but it has different part numbers and just barely doesn't fit in the slot. it looks like a 1990s distributor.
my old cap doesn't fit and it seems to be a different part
now im wondering if i get the right cap and rotor and put it in will the halls sensor still talk to the computer right. i don't know how exact this has to be.
the part numbers are
old- 0 237 506 001
new- 0 237 520 004

2. connect the wiring to the distributor, turn the key on, spin the distributor with your fingers - do you have spark?
