how do you remove the plastic cover from the front bumper on a 1990 740? I got the whole thing off but it looks like there's clips still holding it on.

 

IIRC, there's two clips on the sides, just below/behind the turn signals, that are bolted through the fenders.

or are you talking about some other clips ? its been too long, I vaguely remember removing my bumper cover without removing the metal bumper, but I don't remember exactly how.

 

I figured it out, take out all the clips on the bottom part of the bumper, then with the license plate side down, pull up (on the real bottom of the bumper) on the metal bumper until it comes out, it's really right in there though
