Volvo 940 2.0 Turbo Wentworth
Hi,
Does anyone here have any knowledge on the 940 2.0 Turbo Wentworth Engine ?
l fitted a replacement Engine in my car (B200 Series LT) l`ve checked everything out the electrics / fuel system is working, last week l discovered that the car was hydralicing and when l removed the cylinder head l found water in 2/3 bores, the gasket was leaking fluid into bores, and the fresh oil was creamy... l`ve renewed every gasket, the ecu, injectors, skimmed the head, cleaned the block etc; refitted all the previous working parts, and yesterday found that the sprocket on the bottom crank had sheered it`s drift clean off, l`ve now replaced that and all the belts, re-checked the timing ( still trying to get the flywheel set right ) it has 3 positions... think of a clock face... 12 noon is at the rpm switch, then you have 2pm and 10am....when set at 10am the car will only idle without reving and the turbo would kickin whilst it did so, if you applied the gas or depressed the clutch it cut out, it would restart but then the same would happen again, it seemed to be 180` degrees out, setting it too 2pm, it wants to start but won`t even attempt too......set too 12noon it turns over but won`t show any sign of starting.....?
l`m posting this question out of sheer desperation in the hope that someone somewhere can help with this ongoing `nightmare `.This is a summary of my volvo experience that`s been going on for 2 months now.....PLEASE HELP
