Hi guys my volvo 940 estate is dropping revs then goes back up at idle,also it has stalled and gone to stall while braking and changing gear a couple of times.

The last 2-3times i been out in it has been fine although noticed a slight dip in revs at idle,also it did miss a touch while driving along on the times that it did stall as mentioned above,i changed my leads about 5 months ago when it was missing a lot any ideas?

how is your idle speed adjusted?

I actually have a similar issue in mine, but have yet to look into.

 

My 740 does that as well. I would think that changing the vacuum hoses would fix it. If that doesn't work, I would then try adjusting the throttle line just a little bit. I can't be sure on the throttle so I would wait until you did more research and/or has more replies here from the more experienced.
