960? wrong section, that belongs over in the 960 section.
best of luck, when the timing belt failed prematurely on our 960/S90, valves hit the pistons and required major engine work. the 'red block' 4 cylinders on 240/740/940 cars (this section) are non-interference engines, you just replace the timing belt and tensioner, and move on. whiteblocks (850, 960, etc) are definitely interference engines
