Wagon or sedan
Hey guys and girls
I'm looking at guying a volvo 240
The build I wanna do is somthing stanced and to be able to take it to track and slide it what would suit my build ( what are the benefits / different between both) a wagon or a Sedan.
Cheers

wagons carry more stuff. mechanically, they are pretty much identical
you're gonna need a WHOLE lot more horses to get anything resembling a decent slide out of a 240, the stock 113 HP will barely chirp a stock 185/70-14 tire on a full stop turn slamming 1st gear on wet paint.
if by 'stance', you mean negative camber of the rear wheels, you'll also need a completely different rear end, as all 240's use a dana 30 live axle rear end, and the camber is inherently 0 degrees with no possible way to adjust.

This forum is focused more on keeping a volvo in stock form. If you are looking to do modifications i would check out turbobricks.com. They are more focused on getting performance out your brick. You can lower the cars but you will not get any negative camber. if you want more power from an N/A engine look into getting a vx camshaft. You can also do a turbo swap, or a +t on a late model 240. You will need to get the turbo engine and computers from a late model 740/940 turbo for an engine swap. the +t will need the turbo bits and computers, along with a bit of fabrication. each have their ups and downs.
as always document the build and share.
