Default ★ ★ Warning lights stay on...

Hello everyone, as the title says, this morning I noticed that after starting the car the warning lights that normally come on when you start the car then go away are still there. I mean the car still runs and seems normal except for that! Any help on why this could be happening would be greatly appreciated, Nelson. :-(

Year, model, mileage? Any recent work done? Any other possibly related symptoms?

Could be the alternator that is faulty.Check all the wires that go from the alternator and see if they are ok.Check the belts and see that they are not loose. Also could be the keyhole where the key goes in that could be the problem.Try to wriggle the key and see if the lights go out.If that is so then there is a fault in the wireplating inside.Does the battery get charged like normal?

Check sicnarf's reply....i know occasionally my car's SRS light will stay on and I need to turn the key back just a tad and it goes off. Maybe something like that is at play in your scenario.

Is something wrong with your computer? One suggested that you check or have the alternator checked.

Besides that, please calm down. I don't think you put any coin in with your request for FREE help.
