All, I have a 1985 240 and have noticed that when parked, water will drain out of a pipe in the back, on the driver's side under the trunk. Any idea where this is coming from and why?

Go into the trunk and pull the spare tire out and see if you have water under it. If so there is a rubber drain plug that needs to be cleaned and checked.

 

Dang, I still need to find something to plug mine up. It's just got a hole at the moment.

Amelia240, how much water is coming out of that pipe? Is it a metal pipe that's about 2 inch diameter? It almost sounds like you are describing the tailpipe.
