Hello all, finally got my '87 back on the road and running right after the heater blower motor replacement.
So I was wondering about the 240's in general and I can't remember if I have ever seen one with a red interior. Red exterior but not interior. Do any of you know if any were made? and how common/uncommon are they to find?

I've mostly seen blue, beige, grey, black, but yes I believe they made red ones, also a chocolate brown.

 

Yes, there were 240-260 red interiors up until mid 80's.

 

I remember a red velour 760T shop loaner we had for a weekend back in the day. outside of the car was a dark brown metallic.

 

Plenty of '80s red interior 740/760, in both cloth and leather; may be even into the '90s...

 

Yeah, I know the 740's were but my question was regarding the 240's only.

 

Hi there, I know this is an old post but I recently bought a red interior 242. I was wondering how many of the 242s had red interior and if it’s considered a rare option to have on a 240? Thanks!
