When did Volvo go to GAS STRUT INSERTS on the 240?
I'm replacing the shocks/struts on my 1991 240. I'm told that the front strut inserts of some manufacturers require spacers (a Volvo part)if the car is equipped with gas shocks. How can I tell if my car has gas shocks BEFORE I take things apart? Does anyone know when Volvo started using gas shocks? Alan (352) 377-7743
