Where is the fuel tank on a 740?

Where is the fuel tank on a 740?

Serious question.

I don't mean where the cap is, I mean literally where is the tank that holds gasoline?

It seems to run between the front of the wheel wells--right behind the rear seats, am I correct?

right after the axle in the sedan, in the center is where mine is...hope that helps

On mine, the gas tank was found on the drivers side, before the rear axel, under the rear seats.
