My volvo S70's fuel tank door doesn't open and i'm almost out of fuel!!!

If anyone knows how to open manualy the fuel tank door in a S70 1998 model, please tell me as soon as posible.

If you open the trunk then look inside the cover by the taillight under the flap you have to open to get to the bulb area to replace one. There should be a ring attached to a rod that you can pull to unlock it.
