White smoke after Coolant flush and refill
I have an 89 740GL with a bad Radiator expansion tank among other things.
I replaced the expansion tank and did a coolant flush and replaced the fluid.
Now theres a leak in the exhaust manifold gasket and its now blowing water or something out along with smoke.
I tried to go to the part store and there was too much white smoke to go I had to turn around. I'm thinking coolant is getting into the cylinders or something.
I have been waiting for the car to die because its been horribly taken care of before I got it. I got it last august, when my last car died and I needed a cheap ride. I need to know if its worth it for me to try to fix this myself or should I just use what I have saved up to get a new car..
I'm thinking it's a head gasket and I should probably just start looking for new cars. But if its something simple I'm missing please let me know.
Thanks!
