Default 1988 760 Fuel Pump Relay

Hi,

I am having a problem with what I think is the fuel pump relay on my '88 760 turbo.
  1. Does anyone know the part number for this relay so I can order one?
  2. Does anyone know where this relay is found? I heard it was behind the ashtray if this is true anyone have any detail (pics would be helpfull) on what needs to be removed to access it?
Thanks for any help...

1362914 for both the B280 as well as the B230FT. It is a different relay than used in the 740's and 240's but I believe it is still in the same location, just shaped differently. I could be wrong about the location. I'll include the normal location photo. below. I stock them here at the shop if you can wait until Saturday or Monday for delivery. $28 shipped.
Here's the normal location...remove the ashtray and lift the tab up on the panel above it and then pull up and out. The fuse/relay tray will actually pull out somewhat to improve access.

Default 760 Fuel pump relay location

So I finally got the time to tear apart the stereo console of my '88 760 in search of the elusive fuel pump relay. After taking out the upper and lower stereo (thats right I am still rockin the stock cassette deck not that I would even know where to find a cassette anymore) and the plastic bit that holds everything in place I realized two things...
  1. There is a much easier way to access the relay terminal.
(Through the plastic cover in the passenger side footwell only two little screws! SO easy!)
  2. The picture of the relay terminal looks different than the picture I got earlier in this thread.
So now I know where to look and how easy it is to get there I need to know which relay it is that I need to replace. this is the picture of the relay terminal in my car...

Help on this would be helpful!

Thanks,
