Hi, yah im sellin my old volvo for a new one i was lucky to get ti at a awasom price its a 1996 850 platinum limited edition sedan. Anyone have one of these cars if u do ide like to kno wut u think of it.

 

i take it this isnt a common car well i would like to kno about anyones comments on the 850 series in gereral.

 

I am on my third 850 and I have to say that I LOVE my 850 .. I had a white 95 sedan a green 850 glt wagon and now I drive a gold turbo wagon 1994 I think its one of the nicest volvos out there . Scince I am a big time Volvo fan I dont think I will ever drive a Ford built volvo ( post 1999 ) even with 182000 miles on it my turbo is still ten times nicer than any american made car as old , things to watch with the 850 are the oil leaks .... I still love myne .. Im getting a 1979 244 sedan for free tomorow and im looking forward to having 3 volvos LOL

 

850's are great cars.

If it is a turbo which I am not sure yours is. Look out for the Rear Main Seal on the turbo I think it is. Belts should be changed as well. And if you haven't upgraded the oil to FULL Synthetic then do so, but you cannot go back.
