1991 Volvo 940 Turbo Stalls at low rpms
Hi, I'm a proud Volvo owner and this is my first post on the forums. I have a 1991 Volvo 940 turbo that sometimes stalls at low rpms, or doesn't start at all. It hasn't started twice so far. I think it's probably not the battery because it shows no signs of there not being enough power and it turns over. The alternator is only a couple years old and the battery is less than a year old.
It only gives me problems when the engine is at low rpms or I'm trying to start it. I've done a little research, and I've come up with a few things that it could be: the fuel pump relay, the fuel pump itself, or the ignition coil. Both times it has not started, it was after driving a small distance and parking it for about 20 min and then trying to start it again. Does anyone have any idea if it could be those things I mentioned? Thanks.
