Hello,
Could anyone tell where you access the relay panel on a 92 960. I've seen some places that say behind the ash tray but when you take it out there is a solid plastic panel that doesn't look like it comes out that easy. Any tips. Why would volvo make it so hard to get to the relays?

 

are you looking for the fuse box ? on my '94 it's on the left (driver's side) end of the dash, on the side so that you have to open the driver's door to get to it, then there's a panel with a thumb dimple like on your gas fill door, all the fuses and the like are under there and are numbered, there should be some spares in the bottom center pullout and a fuse puller nearest the steering wheel on the bottom
