Default 1995 960 diagnostic code interpretation

A2 socket



2-3-3 Long term idle trim ??????

3-1-4 CMP signal - is that a coil signal/cam position signal?

314 is the cam sensor.
233 long term idle trim, usually means an air leak of some sort, after checking all of the vacuum hoses and elbows, then the oil separator hoses, air intake ducting, could be a bad intake gasket.

Thank you sir. I have a feeling 314 might be a history code since I repaired (?)
the broken cam sensor socket plug. I can't seem to erase the history. The air /vacuum hoses are in a bit of disarray.

If there is only one code stored, you have to read it twice to erase it. After the second reading, push and hold the button once for more than five seconds, the light should illuminate and press and hold again for more than five seconds and it should go out.

My reader box stopped working all together, took it apart to find the metal switch contacts oxidized, cleaned and lubed and all is good now.
