The damned light has been on since I bought the car a year ago..is there any way to turn it off?? Its the only warning light that shows up on my dash, and its really starting to bug me. I really dont want to take it to Volvo and pay their service prices! A button? A switch? Anything?!

 

does it go off after a few minutes of driving? if so, you should be able to turn it off by pulling the rubber plug on your instrument cluster (it's to the left of odometer reset button and about the same diameter) pull the rubber plug and then push the button under it with a paper clip or something that's small. Perhaps this will solve the problem. If not, take it to auto zone/o reily/pep boys and get the codes pulled for free. The computer will tell what's wrong
