I have a 1996 Volvo 960 which was given to me. It has a list of problems that seem to never end but I really like the car and it does well most days.
1. I checked the transmission fluid yesterday and it was low. How difficult is it to refill fluid?
2. Gas gauge has never worked, any easy fix to this? I fill up every 275 miles to make sure I never run out.
3. The door latch button has broken, I have to open driver door from inside the vehicle.
4. Some of the suspension struts have bad connections, one is isn't connected at all.
There are more problems, but these are the major problems right now.
I plan on searching some local junkyards for parts needed as I begin this process, any advice is greatly appreciated.
I am not a car guy, but i can fix minor assembly problems and change fluids; If I feel I am in over my head i will suck it up and take it to a mechanic.
