1997 960 cylinder three location

Is the number 3 cylinder on a 97 960 inline 6 the third back from the front of the car?

Yes it is. On the Volvo motors #1 is always by the timing belt.

Thanks, I thought is was. Put a new coil pack in as I was told it was the number 3. Thanks again
