1997 960 wagon
Hello,
The old girl has a phantom electrical problem. Sometimes, I lose the power windows, and turn signals when I start the car. I can touch the relay box under the hood and they return, I can open the hood, close the door, or anything, and they return. When everything is working I have tapped relays, tugged on connectors with no subsequent failure. Anyone ever encountered a like problem?
Also what is the best method for ensuring that I don't deploy the air bags while troubleshooting.
thanks in advance.

Answering my own post. In addition to the problems first listed are the following: Shifter lockout engaged, no seat belt warning chime, no power windows, no turn sinals, no headlights, and no cd/radio. It turned out to be the ignition switch, I found it by accident, and I was able to duplicate the problem and resolve it by slightly manipulating the key. It was highly intermittent. Replacement was not bad at all. Hope this helps some one
