Default 96 960 wont start

had some trouble with my car a while back, it would turn and take a few tries to get it started. after a while it stopped starting. i had to leave it sit for a few weeks while i waited for someone to look at it. just went to go check it and now it wont turn. i tried jumping it but it still isnt turning. im thinking maybe the starter isnt working but im not sure.

hoping someone could maybe point out something i could be over looking or some advice.

additional information, back when i started having troubles the car would turn off while i was idling, and i would have to keep my foot on the gas at lights and stop signs.

If the car is not cranking over you probably still have a bad battery. If someone is jumping it for you, make sure you use the instructions in the owners manual, have the other car reved up to 2k, and let it charge your system for about 3 or 4 minutes before you try to start it.
