I just acquired a '97 960 with the AW30-40LE transmission. It has 159K and the transmission fluid smells like the original owner followed the OEM advice and never changed the fluid. I am old school and believe a complete change will introduce too much detergent so just want to do the partial (3.2 qts instead of 7.9 qts). Found the dipstick and how to remove the pan and replace the filter. But, what I cannot find is how to fill this transmission. I do not see a fill bolt. Where do I fill? I suppose I could fill through the dipstick...

Thanks. That is what I wound up doing. I used a hose, attached it to a funnel, and wedged it into the dipstick line.
