Default 97 960 PNP switch problems?

The dealer just replaced the PNP switch on my 97 volvo 960 for a price tag of 650 bucks, I noticed when picking up my car it did not want to crank on the first try. I turned the key all the lights came on but when I tried to crank the car everything went dead. I shut it off tried again and it started right up. Its done this a few times now. Does this have something to do with the PNP switch being installed. The car was not doing this before the switch.

when i replaced my switch on my 96 960 i had the same issue...... the switch might not be fully aligned. try checking to see if the car starts in N. if it does not then the switch is out of alignment and will need to be taken back.
