I have a 93 960 and love it. Most important thing in buying one of these is service history. Timing belt & tensioner need to be changed every 30,000 miles. Have a mechanic check it out before buying. Note: parts are expensive
i have a 95 960. the fuel rail leaks, there isa mod out there to replace it, not hard to do. also, the rear seal on the exhaust cam tends to leak and it is a bear to change. i think it is the left motor mount that tends to colapse along with the tranny mount. the vacuum diaphragm for the a/c goes bad, when you hit the gas the air switches from the ventsto the floor vents, the dash has to come out to change it.
dont let these turn you off, ALL cars have their problems, just things to look at before you buy.

Reportedly the early ('92/'93) B6304s had block porosity issues where coolant would seep out the side of the block. That's something to look for. If it hasn't happened and/or been fixed by now, you'd definitely know.
