driver seat stuck on one side
I have a 1997 960/S90 and the driver's seat will not move in track on the right side and the motor will turn and twist the seat. This happened once before and I did something and it went back to working. Problem is I don't or I don't remember( most likely) what I did. It looks clear best I can tell with one eye. Therefore, I need some help.

What has happened is that one of the cables going into the transmission has backed out a little. It needs to be pushed back in. What I did was put inward pressure on each cable while moving the button until I found the one. Just takes a quick click. Once you find the cable you can put duct tape on it or a wire tie keeping pressure on it so that it works.
Better yet, this is a simular problem that 850's have with their recliner. The cure for that is to replace the cable (not) or get a small butane lighter torch, heat the area that the cable goes into the sleeve, push it in a little (about 1/8 of an inch) and hold it there for about 1 minute to allow it to set in that possition.
Once important note: Operate the seat back and forth to try to find the center possition of the other side that is working. That way when you get it working the set will be centered.
