This should be an easy question but, the front wipers on my 94' 960 wagon work but they hit the lip of the hood when they reach the down position. The bolts are on tight and I hope it is easy enough to fix so I dont have to take it in for service. Thank you for any help.

What exactly does that mean? If i were to loosen the bolts and to realign them would i fix the problem? thanks tech your insight is much apreciatead.

 

Make sure when they are Parked(all the way down) they hit the stops on the bottom of the Headlights.

You will be able to loosen the nut and adjust if they are off.

The wiper Blade might also be longer than it is supposed to be.

 

I apologize for being unclear, I was refering to the windshield wipers and the top little lip of the hood. Sorry for any time wasted. I was thinking if i loosened the nuts and positioned them in the proper place then retightened them?

 

Yes same for them.
