Just bought a 95 960. When I start out I get a grinding feeling from under the front console. It only last a second or two and it doesnt matter if i start out fast or slow. I checked U joints and they seem to be fine. Any suggestions?

 

it could possibly be your carrier bearing, which supports the driveshaft and coincidentally is located just behind the console.
