the general idea is to get a decent head (better then the current 2 valves aa cylinder) on my v6 760, or does another engine swap with nodramas?

They are way totally different engines.

The B28E is a V-6 engine.
The B6304F is an inline 6

No most people hate the V-6

Most either junk them or convert to the 4 cylinder turbo.

The 6304 is a decent engine basically a 850 engine with one more cylinder.

The 4 cylinder isn't that bad but would bebetter to have a donor car.

I love my 6304. Super smooth running, fairly powerful, easy to work on, and gets great MPG for a 6cyl. Main thing you have to do on them is make sure the timing belt is properly serviced. If you fail to replace the timing belt at the correct interval and it breaks, the engine just self destructs, and no one like a self-destructing engine.
