I'm a newbie to Volvos. Up to now its been RX-7's and Windstars. Looking for a first car for my daughter. Main interest is safety and reliability. I've always associated Volvos with safety. Are there any particular trouble spots for the '94 960? How well does the ABS work? How often should the timing belt be changed? Any suggested questions to ask the owner of the car I may be looking at?

The ABS works good. The timing belt is every 70,000 miles.

The 1994 is a pretty good year.
