Default O-ring, washer needed for drain plug?

After seeing this question about the 850, I have to ask for the 960.
Do I need a o-ring ( or whatever the proper term is), for the oil drain plug when I do a oil change?

Thanks!

I don't think I ever used one on my V90. I don't remember my 850. I would use one in case I have a leak.They sell'em like $ 5 a pack at parts stores.

You are supposed to use one, they usually sell it with the filter. Since they are BRASS they compress and make a better seal. I don't always use a new one if the old one is not crushed/deformed too badly.
