Default Oil in Intercooler

Hey, I cleaned out my intercooler today. It doesnt look like its been cleaned for a long time, but I found about 1cup of oil in the bottom of it. It looked like it has been there for a while aswell. I recently changed the oil but haven't driven the car much in the last 6 months. Is the turbo bad? or anything else you could think of that would explain this. The turbo seems fine, no smoke or anything...Thanx

its a 1990 760 turbo

Default RE: Oil in Intercooler

It is normal to have some oil in the intercooler.
In the newer cars they actually have a drain hole in them. It is a little hole they drilled right in the bottom of the intercooler.
